Puget Sound Shipbuilders Association is driven by the strength of member-to-member relationships between their safety and environmental professionals fostering continuous improvement in the areas of worker injury reduction and stronger environmental stewardship. The sharing of knowledge and resources supports the longevity of our industry and provides an open source between members to find answers to questions that will improve processes and procedures in PNW shipyards.

American Seafoods Company, LLC
American Seafoods operates a fleet of six fishing vessels in the sustainable fisheries of the Bering Sea and the North Pacific Ocean. We are the world's largest at-sea processor of Wild Alaska Pollock and hold the largest allocation of Wild Pacific Hake (Whiting). Our quality-assured products are distributed around the globe.

Dakota Creek Industries, Inc.
Dakota Creek Industries, located in Anacortes is organized to offer great flexibility that enables us to take on smaller projects, yet large enough to handle most non-cargo seaworthy ships. We have both the experience and onsite craftsmen to upgrade an existing vessel or build a new vessel for your fleet DCI has the expertise, capability, and capacity to suit your needs.

Everett Ship Repair
We are strategically located in Everett Washington and operate two drydocks the Faithful Servant and the Emerald Lifter. The Faithful Servant is one of the four largest drydocks in the Pacific North West. In addition, we have 500' of mooring space for vessel service work.

Foss Maritime - Shipyard
Foss Maritime Pacific Northwest shipyard in Seattle provides full shipyard services from naval architecture and marine engineering to vessel design, construction, and repair. The fully equipped shipyard features a team of highly skilled engineers and craftspeople who collaborate with the customer on their operational requirements, equipment and safety needs to meet all specifications.

HarborLand 2C, LLC

Jesse Engineering
Founded in 1976, Jesse Co., has grown to be one of the largest specialty steel fabricators on the West Coast. Primarily engaged in heavy steel fabrication, machinery manufacturing, and design build of complex projects, Jesse specializes is very large or complex fabrications or value-added fabrication. Jesse Co. has in-house machining, painting, and assembly (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical) capabilities.

Lake Union Drydock
The focus of our shipyard is on high quality workmanship and value to the customer. Lake Union Drydock Company employs highly skilled tradesmen including Welders, Shipfitters, Electricians, Sheetmetal Workers, Pipefitters, Painters, Machinists, Riggers and Shipwrights that enable us to build or repair just about anything marine.

Manson Construction Company
Manson Construction takes pride in serving our nation's transportation infrastructure needs. From building federal facilities and ports-of-call, to ferries, cruise terminals, bridges, outfalls and pipelines, wharves and piers. Manson is committed to our clients and the communities we serve.

Nichols Brothers Boat Builders, Inc.
Since 1964 Nichols Brothers focus has been quality craftsmanship. For generations our leaders have invested their time, energy and knowledge in the development of others. Constructing vessels for all industries from high-speed catamarans to windfarm vessels. The company's primary location is on Whidbey Island with operations also in Everett.

Northlake Shipyard, Inc
Northlake Shipyard is a shipyard facility where ship owners may either lease space, including drydocks to perform their own work, have jobs performed by the yard on a bid basis, or performed by the yard on a time and materials basis. Our equipment includes Drydocks up to 1,900 Tons and 300 feet; 200-foot outfitting dock; fabrication building; craft shops; and blast-paint shop; 50 Ton whirly crane on rails, 40 Ton American crane.

Pacific Fishermen Shipyard & Electric, LLC
Pacific Fishermen Shipyard was founded in 1946 by 400 Norwegian heritage fishermen as a co‐op style shipyard on the site of the 1890's Ballard Marine Railway Co., where Seattle founding father Joshua Green built his sternwheeler Bailey Gatzert. Today, Pacific Fishermen Shipyard and PFI Marine Electric remain heavily involved in the fishing industry with full support in Dutch Harbor.

Platypus Marine, Inc.
Located in Port Angeles, Platypus Marine is a full-service indoor shipyard specializing in the construction, repair, refit, and maintenance of recreational, commercial, and government vessels.

Salmon Bay Marine Center, LLC
Located in Seattle 1,000 yards from the historic Ballard locks, SBMC is a fresh water marina with moorage that accommodates vessels from 100 feet to 240 feet. The combination of on-site marine service tenants and adjacent off-site marine service facilities makes SBMC the largest contiguous super yacht marina of its kind on the U.S. west coast.

Sause Bros.
Sause Bros. has been one of the most respected names in U.S. flag marine cargo transportation for decades. Beginning in the 1930's with one small wooden tug, we have grown to a fleet of over 60 modern tugs and barges. Our mission is to provide superior marine transportation services. We will continuously expand our skills and technology to provide innovative, reliable, and responsive solutions to meet the changing needs of our customers.

Stabbert Marine & Industrial
Stabbert Maritime objectives are to ensure safety at sea, the prevention of injury or loss of life, and avoidance of damage to the environment, particularly the marine environment. We are dedicated to providing a safe working environment whether afloat or ashore, by establishing safeguards against all identified risks. SMI is a full-service shipyard with drydock operating on the ship canal in Seattle.

Western Towboat started with one small tug the "N D TOBEY" along Ballard's waterfront in 1948. In the early days, Bob Sr. functioned as business agent, captain, and engineer. Still a Family business owned and operated by Bob Jr. and his sons Russell, Ross, and daughter Kristin all working together daily.
